Private Function Dinner with Dato' Seri Azalina Othman as one of the VVIP guests!!!

It was held on 8th February 2009 (Sunday).

It was kinda last minute arrangement. Got a call on Friday 6th, and we confirmed everything by Saturday morning (see how easy it is to arrange a function with us? *wink wink*)

Didn't get much details for the function. 

What we know was it'll be held at Mr.Yuki Chin's bungalow house in Tropicana Golf & Country Resort (we knew Yuki when we performed at Havana in Tropicana 2 years ago!). We have to perform at 7:30pm. We have to dressed multi-racial dressing (see what i mean from the pictures).

So on the actual day, Mr. Yuki told us to start at 8:30pm. We were there by 8pm. It was a lovely big bungalow house. We performed on the terrace at the side garden. 

We were excited to know that Tourism Minister Dato' Seri Azalina Othman will be there too (we've performed in front of DPM before but never got the chance to take photos). Dato' Seri Azalina was a nice person. She's always smiling and she didn't even sat at the table provided for her, instead she sat down at the small table at one corner.

There were also some other popular celebrities - Hunny Madu (flyFM dj), Ash Nair (M'sian Idol) and Vanessa Chong (Amazing Race / Vince Chong's sister - really hot looking girl). 

We performed 2 sets, 8:30pm - 9:45pm. It was dinner time so we played all sentimental songs only! Hunny Madu sang 2 songs - If I Were A Boy and No One. Ash sang only 1 song - With Or Without You.

Had a 20 minutes break and continued singing again for another 45 minutes. 

During the 2nd set we played a mix of disco, top 40's, latin, cha-cha and chinese song. We started to sweat a lot (even though there's a BIG fan right behind us!). Some of them started to dance. Most of 'em still shy. They also started to send requests. We started to get so tired... but overall the show went smooth.... we enjoyed and i believe the hosts also enjoyed and his guests had fun too!

By 15 to 11pm, the guests started to went home. We stopped and had dinner. The food was great (from Eden Catering).

We also had a chance to take a short tour in the bungalow (coooooolllll).

We wrapped up our things at 11:30pm.

note :

we took loads of picture with Vanessa Chong too, but not using our own camera. We might try to get it from the photographer who's assigned to take all the pictures at the function :)
