B'TRU BAND LATEST PHOTO

it's been a while since the last post entry.

nothing much happens to b'tru band or the Gtwo Fun pub (the place we'll be working till end of March '09).

10th January 2009 (our 2nd saturday working at GTWO), James (not james sumilang the singer, but the number one supporter of GTwo Fun Pub and West Ham United Club) celebrated his birthday at the pub. At the same time the West Ham Club was playing LIVE on the sports channel. We played our normal first 2 sets. The game started at 11pm, and we decided to gave way to the football fans (mainly WEST HAM) to watch the game. We had 45 minutes break, and during half time, we just sang for 15 minutes.

Hanya Dirimu Nas Adila Ft James Sumilang

One of the songs from my album in the philippines. Song composition originally in tagalog.

I was the vocal coach for Nas Adila when she came out with her pop album in 2006.

She asked for a song from me, and voila... Song title in tagalog was Wala Akong Magagawa (which means I Can't Live Without You). When we made this a duet number, in Malay, titled HANYA DIRIMU. Lyricist by Dina (Azman Idris's wife).

Whatever it is, B'Tru Band has started to work on Saturdays now at GTWO FUN PUB, KELAB PUCHONG UNITED.

There were no promotions yet about the band performing on Saturdays (i hafta say that the "promotions" at GTWO Fun Pub is a "little" bit slow).

Good news is, it's HAPPY HOUR all night long. Per jug of Carlsberg beer is RM35.00.... woohoo.... where else can you get a jug of beer on Saturday night at RM35? Only at GTWO FUN PUB....

So hope to see you guys on Saturday!!!
