Deepavali & Halloween

Happy Diwali 2008

Deepavali was on Monday 27 October 2008.

Since it was long weekend holiday, we expected that the pub will be less crowded.

But our favourite 2 men were at the pub even much earlier than us!

Jarryco & Bob - our loyal fans (ya ke? or is it becos of ARINA??? kwang kwang kwang!!)

Since it was a quiet night, we finished 10 minutes before 12midnight.

The next day, Tuesday, more people came compared to Deepavali night.

Before last set, most of the guests are out already! Ye'ay!

We're looking forward for tonight's Halloween Party.

We'll be performing 3 sets as usual, but i think we'll sing less cos of many mini shows and games on the 2nd and 3rd set. Ye'ay....

There'll even be a lucky draw and best costume prize to be given away!

All 4 of us prepared our costumes already, decorated the stage last night with lots of spiderwebs and skeletons.

So tonight.... "PARTAY".......

We're looking forward to celebrate a Halloween Night Costume Party at Golden Gate Pub. There will be a few games happening, best in costumes, cocktail promotion (buy 2 get free 1), beer promotion (buy 3 jugs entitled for a lucky draw), and of course, B'TRU BAND performing! Also not forgetting the friendly staffs (most of them are beautiful!). 

Hopefully to see y'all on Halloween Night this 31st October 2008.

Am so proud to announce that Seri, one of B'Tru Band's vocalist had coverage on Berita Harian newspaper on Tuesday, 14 October 2008. The coverage was about her new single called "Indah". 

When she told me that her story came out in the newspaper, it was only last Friday night at work. Although she said some statement she made to the reporter isn't true, she's too lazy to argue. 

1 month, 1 Syawal, SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDIL FITRI

It's been a month since we started working at Golden Gate Pub. Everything went well during ramadhan. This year the time flies very fast.

The 4 of us has been enjoying working at Golden Gate, although there are times that the pub has not much people and we noticed when its wednesday, the pub will be a little quiet compared to the other days.

Nothing much happens during ramadhan.... same people came, some new people came.

Only during the final week of ramadhan, the management did a full renovation to the paint, the stage carpet, settings of the tables, and of course, they changed the sound system too. Now the pub has extra 2 surround speakers. Nice lightings.... We've actually requested at least a small dance floor in front of the stage, but all they did was putting the tables a little bit further from the stage, to leave some space, i guess it's for people who wanna dance!

Hari Raya Aidil Fitri was on the 1st of October 2008, Wednesday. All of us took a break for one day except for Andy.

We were replaced by Kathy and Joe.

By Friday, 3rd October, all of us were back in full force and full of ketupat and rendang....

6pm, October 5, 2008 (Sunday), on TV3, watch a documentary called Memo dari Surinam. One of the songs composed by Andy will be played on the documentary!!!
